BIOGRAPHY: Born and raised in Marin County. Grew up with profound hearing loss and wore hearing aides while mainstreamed until 6th grade. I had a small community of Deaf friends while growing up. I learned SEE at age 12 then ASL after that. I attended CSUN and earned a BA in Psychology and a Masters in Family Studies. I have been a Community Health Educator with the Greater Los Angeles Agency on Deafness and taught ASL at various schools in Los Angeles and Lake Tahoe. I got cochlear implants, the first in 2009 and the second in 2018.

BIOGRAPHY: Raised in the Bay Area and now living blissfully in southern CA. Blair is an educator and advocate, focusing on families of deaf children. She is also a doula, focusing on postpartum, death/loss, abortion, and adoption. She, along with another signing doula, offers birth services upon request. She also offers placenta encapsulation anytime.

BIOGRAPHY: Kristen is the founder and owner of In Due Season Doula Services LLC. She is also the founder and owner of The VBAC Coach which provides comprehensive childbirth education to parents seeking post-cesarean birth education and birth professionals seeking to add to their education about supporting cesarean and VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) mothers. She teaches a couples VBAC class in Poway and Temecula. Kristen is a DONA Certified Birth Doula, a CAPPA Trained Postpartum Doula with additional training in high order multiples, CAPPA trained Childbirth Educator, Rebozo Certified through Gena Kirby and has trained with Spinning Babies founder, Gail Tully. She is trained in the art of Placenta Encapsulation and Bekung Belly Binding. Her goal is to provide quality and comprehensive support during pregnancy, birth and beyond. She is the mother of three children and wife to an active duty Marine.
