BIOGRAPHY: I am a wife and mother to three living in Southern California. My passion for natural childbirth and parenting began shortly after becoming a mother and led me down the path I'm on now to becoming a midwife. I've been assisting midwives in the home birth setting since 2011, became a certified placenta encapsulation in 2012, and finally enrolled in midwifery school in 2016. I'm a student with Midwives College of Utah working towards my Bachelors of Science in Midwifery planning to graduate in the next few years.

BIOGRAPHY: Kristen is the founder and owner of In Due Season Doula Services LLC. She is also the founder and owner of The VBAC Coach which provides comprehensive childbirth education to parents seeking post-cesarean birth education and birth professionals seeking to add to their education about supporting cesarean and VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) mothers. She teaches a couples VBAC class in Poway and Temecula. Kristen is a DONA Certified Birth Doula, a CAPPA Trained Postpartum Doula with additional training in high order multiples, CAPPA trained Childbirth Educator, Rebozo Certified through Gena Kirby and has trained with Spinning Babies founder, Gail Tully. BIOGRAPHY: Placenta encapsulation is a delicate process utilizing the centuries-old Traditional Chinese Medicine method of placenta preparation in which I have over 15 years of accumulated knowledge in and over 11 years of certified experience doing. Basically yes, I turn your placenta into capsule form :) I'm an herbalist with over 15 years experience in that department so I know of all of the specific herbs and their properties as well as their benefits and proper use and utilizing the Traditional Chinese Medicine method to be able to provide top quality service and a product that actually works. I'm very well known and come highly recommended- several hospitals here in MA call me the placenta lady :) I'm the go-to person for my local hospital and on texting basis with midwives & nurses.
I truly cannot imagine not having had my own done- I've done it with all five of my children's placentas and KNOW firsthand it works and how amazing it is because of my own personal experience. This is why I'm so passionate about it.
