AMANDA LATHAM, LM, CPM
SERVICES: Midwife and Placenta Encapsulation in Inland Empire
BIOGRAPHY: Amanda considers herself a birth keeper and has a passion for protecting the birthing space for mothers and babies. Inspired by the births of her own babies, Amanda’s journey to midwifery began in 2011 by means of apprenticeship with local midwives; years later, she started her formal midwifery education and training. She graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Midwifery from Midwives College of Utah in 2020 and soon after started her own midwifery practice, Heritage Midwifery. Amanda serves the Temecula Valley and surrounding areas by providing all aspects of care for the childbearing years, including preconception counseling, well woman care, home birth services, and postpartum care. Amanda has experience with American Sign Language and has hopes of increasing access to midwifery care for the Deaf community. Amanda’s goal for her families is to empower them to take ownership over their experience through evidence based education, informed decision making, and compassionate support.
