BIOGRAPHY: I am a birth and postpartum doula located in Rochester, NY. I trained with DONA International in 2016 and 2017. Drawing from the support I received throughout my pregnancy and labor, I find a true calling to birth work. As a birth doula, my goal is to be completely present for your birth experience – physically, emotionally and energetically, and to help you stay strong and calm during labor. My goal as a postpartum doula is to discover what's needed emotionally, physically, and practically for a family and to help make that family's transition to parenthood as peaceful as possible! I live with my husband & two-year-old daughter and enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My passions include cooking & baking with local ingredients, hiking with my rescue dog, and finding new ways to entertain a busy toddler! I am deaf, communicate in both English & ASL, and am excited to be able to serve the Rochester Deaf Community.
